Welcome, parents and students! My name is Shea Madden and I am the school counselor at Ouabache Elementary School. This is my third year as a licensed school counselor and I am excited to continue my professional counseling career so that I can help support students and their parents during the educational journey!
As the school counselor, I will conduct developmental guidance lessons in the classroom, meet with students individually as well as in groups, and work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to promote the well-being and success of all students. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have throughout the school year. As a team, we can work together to ensure that all Ouabache students have the best year possible!

Remember to go to MyEnergyKit.org or call 1-855-386-9548 to request a FREE Energy Kit and credit our school. We’re participating in the My Energy Kit Challenge through Duke Energy and The National Theatre for Children. The goal of the program is to save energy by giving our families the opportunity to request a FREE Energy Kit full of items that can be used to save energy around the home. If our school reaches 100 sign-ups for the FREE kit from our families and staff, we’ll automatically win $250. Right now, we have 93 sign-ups. Please help us make a difference.
